If you have your own website or blog and you have good ranking in search engines, I don't see why you are still not earning money through it. You can earn money through many ways like affiliate marketing program, referral program, associate program, publisher program, and advertisement program. I will explain some common and major programs here.
1. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is the process of earning
a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products.
You find a product you like, promote it to
others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

sale from a customer that they might not have normally been able to reach…
3. And the customer is happy because they
learned about a product from you that will hopefully fulfill a need or desire
Many companies have affiliate marketing programs. you can sign up for free. They will evaluate your website and will offer you the membership of the program. You will recommend their products to others through your website/blog (by writing good quality reviews and explaining the benefits of the product etc)
The each time a customer buy their product through your reference, you will be given a commission by the company. You can work with more than one company at a time.
2. Advertising and associate programs
The amount of money generated from the
website and what programs will accept you is dependent on the amount of content
you have on your page as well as the amount of traffic you receive. Below is a
short listing of some of the different programs on the Internet that can help
generate money on your website.
Amazon associates - The Amazon's associate
program enables any user to setup links to any Amazon goods and any purchases
made from those goods or any other goods a user may make while browsing
Amazon's page after clicking the link from your web page you will generate a
small percentage of income.
Google AdSense - A fast growing advertising
network, Google allows users to setup advertisement banners on their page and
have the ads generated off the content of the page. Any ads that are clicked
(CPC) generate revenue. Google AdSense is the advertising network Computer Hope
goes through.

to make additional revenue from their website that are not listed on this page.
If you have a favorite site, or a site you often purchase products through
check for any "associates" program. Often big sites have associate
programs and allow you to make money for referring people to your favorite
spots on the Internet.
3. Publisher Programs
Publisher programs offer you a proportion of the ad revenue generated on the content of the company through your website. It means you have to publish the content of other websites/companies on your own website. The ads will be played on that content and your will earn commission for those ads. Dailymotion offers publishers program for videos displaying on your website. You publish daily motion videos on your own website and they will give you commission. It will give more traffic to daily motion as well.
